Subaru WRX STI


Subaru is a Japanese multinational automobile manufacturer founded in 1953 by Kenji Kihara. They are best known for their all-wheel (AWD) vehicles, which have become a hallmark of the brand.


Subaru WRX STI was initially developed for rally racing . The WRX stands for “World Rally eXperimental” and STI stands for Subaru Tecnica International. It a high-performance variant of Subaru Impreza compact car is made by Subaru. It was first launched in 1992 and ever since it has gained reputation among fans and rally drivers. The STI is famous for its turbocharged engine, all-wheel-drive system and a sports-tuned suspension that make it a strong contender both on the road and on the racetrack.


The engine of the STI throws out about 300 hp, with 2.5 liters of capacity as well as 300 lb-ft of torque while paired to six-speed manual transmission plus symmetrical AWD system which provides an excellent grip even in slippery conditions. The STI has a unique look outside such as distinct front fascia, large rear spoiler and particular hood scoop. Inside there are Recaro front seats for sporty lookers; leather-wrapped steering wheel plus premium audio option.


For many years now, Subaru Impreza WRX STI has been successful in rallying by winning several world rally championships (WRCs) and other international rallies at different levels. It also enjoys a cult-like following from car enthusiasts and motorheads who appreciate its performance capabilities and adaptability.


In all, the Subaru Impreza WRX STI can be described as a very effective and renowned performance car that can be used as a compact car and with special features of a sport car.
